About the reference

Smaller brokers. Tighter claims.

Trustifo documents opt-out routes that are easy to miss and refuses to publish a procedure when the first-party path cannot be verified.

Trustifo is a privacy reference published by the organization Trustifo Editorial. It focuses on smaller people-search services and business-contact data providers rather than the best-known consumer-search brands. The site’s job is specific: identify the current first-party request channel, describe only observable steps, connect the request to primary legal sources, and give readers a disciplined way to recheck the result.

What we publish

The broker index separates verified removal procedures from directory-only records. A verified guide includes the method, authentication requirement, timing stated by the broker or an explicit “not stated,” recurrence advice, the source URL, and the date of review. Directory entries still help identify a service and its data context, but they do not turn a blocked, retired, or ambiguous URL into instructions.

The law map covers comprehensive state privacy laws in force by the review date, the California DELETE Act, and three federal sectoral laws that frequently affect broker discussions. Each legal page links to a legislature, attorney general, privacy agency, federal regulator, or official code source.

What we do not publish

Trustifo does not sell removal services, accept commissions for ranking brokers, publish consumer reviews, or assign scores. It does not create fictional experts, testimonials, addresses, phone numbers, success rates, or processing promises. It does not ask a reader to send identity documents to Trustifo, and it does not collect a person’s broker profiles for later submission.

No page is legal advice or a determination that a law applies to a particular organization, data set, or resident. Company processes and laws change. The date and source on a guide are therefore part of the content, not decoration.

Corrections

A first-party route can move, change fields, add verification, or disappear. Readers and companies can send a correction through the contact page. Useful reports identify the page, the current first-party URL, what changed, and the date observed. Trustifo Editorial reviews the source before changing a procedure.
